The Hollywoodland Revue is a passion project dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich heritage of Hollywood. Our film enthusiasts and historians are committed to sharing engaging content that educates and entertains our readers.

Allan R. Ellenberger is a Los Angeles–based author and film historian specializing in Hollywood’s early history and its enduring cultural legacy. His work includes Miriam Hopkins: Life and Films of a Hollywood Rebel and other books exploring the lives, landmarks, and legends that shaped the film industry. Through his research and writing, he continues to preserve the stories that built—and haunt—Hollywood.
